By creating an account or using SnelScan (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
SnelScan provides a biometric attendance management platform including fingerprint-based time tracking, employee management, scheduling, payroll reporting, and associated hardware (the “Service”). The Service is offered on a subscription basis.
You must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@snelscan.com.
Subscriptions are charged in advance on a monthly or yearly basis depending on your selected plan. Hardware purchases are billed separately at the time of order. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees. Prices may be updated with 30 days' notice. Yearly plans are non-refundable after the first 14 days.
A 14-day free trial is available for new accounts. After the trial period, your account will require an active paid subscription to continue using the Service.

You are the data controller for all biometric data collected through the Service. You must comply with all applicable biometric privacy laws in your jurisdiction, including obtaining explicit consent from employees before enrolling their fingerprints. SnelScan acts as a data processor and processes biometric templates solely to provide the Service.
SnelScan and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the Service, software, and hardware designs. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during your subscription period.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnelScan's total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. SnelScan is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
